Spider-Man (1967) Episode Thirty-Six: Thunder Rumble

Thunder Rumble

First Aired: December 28th, 1968

Synopsis: While a storm rages in New York City, two thugs rob a vault, confident that they won't be heard blowing it up thanks to the thunder. In space, on Mars, the Thunder God Volton comments that his storms are so powerful that they even reach Earth. He is told by Mars, the leader of the people on his planet, that Volton has the honour of going to Earth and conquering it. While Volton travels to Earth, Spider-Man tries stopping the two thugs, and ends up chasing one of them to Central Park. It's then that giant-sized Volton appears, and starts throwing lightning bolts around. Fortunately, Spider-Man is able to kick him in the stomach, which knocks him out.

Spider-Man (1967) Episode Thirty-Five: Blotto

Blotto

First Aired: December 21st, 1968

Synopsis: A black, ink-like monster named Blotto is created by a director as revenge for being called a has-been. The director has also invented a weapon called the spirit-scope. Blotto is released onto the street where he starts absorbing and dissolving items by touching them. Peter Parker, meanwhile, is driving a film star, when they run out of petrol in the street. Blotto approaches them, and Peter swings them out of there using his web shooters before switching to Spider-Man. After running out of places to run from Blotto, he goes into the sewers.

Spider-Man (1967) Episode Thirty-Four: Home

First Aired: December 14th, 1968

Synopsis: In a swingin' sixties coffee shop, Peter Parker is harassed by his fellow students for reading a paper about the Proton Device rather than dancing. A girl nearby named Carol hears Peter talk about how much he likes science, and convinces him to dance with her. They hit it off, but when Peter goes patrolling as Spider-Man, he encounters Carol committing robbery - and furthermore, she's got spider-powers similar to him. She manages to get away, and doesn't show up to meet with Peter at the coffee shop the next day. When Peter goes out patrolling as Spider-Man, he runs into Carol again, and she recognises Spider-Man as Peter. When Spider-Man webs up Carol, she's rescued by a mysterious floating sphere.

Spider-Man (1967) Episode Thirty-Three: Neptune's Nose Cone

Neptune's Nose Cone

First Aired: December 7th, 1968

Synopsis: A rocket called the Neptune is launching into space, and its nose cone contains instruments which can measure the magnetic field of the Earth. J. Jonah Jameson isn't impressed by the launching, but when he hears from his reporter, Penny Jones, that the nose cone fell off and into the Antarctic sea, he sends Peter Parker and her there to get photos of it. When heading there, an intense storm grounds their plane on an uncharted island, which coincidentally turns out to be where the nose cone landed. Unfortunately, Penny is kidnapped by some of the natives, who are planning on throwing her and the nose cone into a volcano they worship.

Spider-Man (1967) Episode Thirty-Two: Cloud City of Gold

First Aired: November 30th, 1968

Synopsis: A plane Peter Parker is in while travelling to an unnamed country as an exchange student is caught in a storm. Peter comments that the clouds look almost as if they're made of gold, and his host says that there's a legend about the city of gold. Shortly afterwards, the plane crash-lands in the jungle, leading to Peter changing to Spider-Man so that he can guide the crew of the plane to safety. They end up travelling down the river on a raft and after dealing with a whirlpool, stalagmites, and bats in an underground river, unexpectedly find themselves at the city of gold.

Spider-Man (1967) Episode Thirty-One: Pardo Presents

First Aired: November 23rd, 1968

Synopsis: In the middle of the night, a giant black cat stalks the city, somehow managing to steal jewels and gold using some sort of strange electronic ray. It returns to its master, a green-skinned man named Pardo, who is planning on robbing the city's upper-class. The next night, Peter Parker and a girl named Polly go to the premiere of a Pardo Productions film named My Pet. Inside the theatre, gas shoots out of the screen and everyone except Peter is paralysed, unable to move unless Pardo commands them to. Peter changes to Spider-Man and goes to the screening booth where Pardo is while he tries to get his assistants to take money from everyone.

First Aired: November 16th, 1968

Synopsis: Peter Parker is going through his love interest Jackie's attic. Her house used to belong to Professor Smithers, who disappeared thirty years ago. Peter finds a strange seed and Professor Smithers' diary, which explains that the seed was brought from three million years ago via a time machine. Since the seed has been brought into sunlight, it turns into a giant plant monster and starts terrorising the city. Peter jumps into the time machine, which is in the attic, to go to the past since Professor Smithers will be there. As Spider-Man, Peter is defeated by a giant blue monster, who takes him to Smithers.

The Evil Sorceror

First Aired: November 9th, 1968

Synopsis: Thousands of years ago, the evil magician Kotep was trying to enslave the world, but was turned into stone by magic. In the present day, a college professor thinks that he can bring back Kotep with magic, and after he is fired for teaching lessons about Kotep, uses his magic to summon Kotep. Kotep attacks the professor with a demon, but shortly afterwards is attacked himself by Spider-Man. Although Spider-Man gives him a good fight, Kotep ends up teleporting away. Once Kotep is gone, he tries summoning demons to help him take over the world, but they say that they'll only work for him if he can defeat Spider-Man.

Phantom From the Depths of Time

First Aired: November 2nd, 1968

Synopsis: On an island in the ocean the inhabitants are captured by some giant bugs and forced to work mining an element called lapicide in the mines by an insectoid humanoid. One of the slaves manages to break free and send a radio signal asking for help, which Spider-Man's spider sense, back in New York, picks up. Spider-Man climbs into a jet and flies off to the island to help, starting off his adventure by defeating the giant bugs, which turn out to be robots.
