Marvel's Spider-Man Episode Three: Osborn Academy

Osborn Academy


First Aired: August 26th, 2017

Synopsis: The Jackal is running away with technology he stole from Tony Stark, while Spider-Man chases after him. Spidey's on the phone with Harry Osborn, who wants Peter to be there for the reception of Osborn Academy. As the chase after the Jackal continues the Jackal takes a blonde teenager hostage, whom Spider-Man saves, but once he's done so she gives him advice on how he could have utilised his resources better. Jackal gets away and Peter heads to Osborn Academy for a tour. Max Modell, Miles Morales, and Anya Corazon are also there for a tour, and shortly after Peter arrives the blonde teenager arrives, turning out to be Gwen Stacy, another Horizon student. They watch some interviewees apply for the school, and one duo - Herman Schultz, using technology he dubs Shocker, and Clayton Cole, calling his technology Clash - are told that only one of them will be accepted into the school. They soon start fighting using their technology, and Peter is knocked out of the window. He changes to Spider-Man and returns to the school.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Seventy-Four: Nightmare on Christmas

First Aired: December 3rd, 2014

Synopsis: Shocker robs a bank on Christmas Eve and is stopped by Spider-Man, but in the process damages Spider-Man's communicator. When Spider-Man returns to SHIELD Academy he finds all of his teammates, minus a sleeping Squirrel Girl, missing, and leaps to the conclusion that everyone ditched him on Christmas Eve. He goes back outside and falls from a roof, seemingly to his death, but wakes up and finds himself fighting the Enforcers. They soon drive away with an Oscorp truck, and Spider-Man is belittled by J. Jonah Jameson for letting it happen. Spider-Man recalls that this happened a few Christmases ago and goes after the Enforcers and successfully stops them. However, the truck goes over a bridge and into the water. Once again Spider-Man wakes up, this time to Shocker robbing the bank from the start of the episode. He stops Shocker once again but continues to receive no gratitude from civilians, so he throws his costume in the bin and declares that he's Spider-Man no more.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Sixty-Nine: Burrito Run

First Aired: July 28th, 2015

Synopsis: After an intense training session with Hawkeye, Spider-Man, Luke Cage, and Squirrel Girl are all hungry but are forbidden from going out by Nick Fury. The three of them sneak into the city but as they're heading to get burritos they run into Shocker. They defeat him but afterwards he's amnesiac and can't remember what he was doing, namely altering the city's mobile phone coverage using an access box. As the team continue heading to the burrito place Spidey knows they find Batroc the Leaper stealing mobile phones, and after defeating him he, too, is amnesiac. They head off in the direction of an alarm and find Mesmero altering an access box as Shocker was, but when he's attacked he sends civilians after them. Spider-Man, Luke, and Squirrel Girl escape them and see waves of civilians heading for a skyscraper, so they make their way there.

Spectacular Spider-Man Episode Twenty-Two: Probable Cause

First Aired: October 14th, 2009

Synopsis: Shocker is fighting two costumed people, who are soon revealed to be his partners in the Enforcers with suits that enhance their abilities. Tombstone is impressed with them, but his working with the Enforcers irks Hammerhead, only for Tombstone to point out that Hammerhead screwed up the oil tanker job and getting the Rhino suit specs. At school, students get randomly assigned partners for a police ridealong, and Peter ends up getting Sally Avril as his partner. Before the ridealong, Peter goes out as Spider-Man and encounters the Enforcers in their new suits, robbing a bank. They manage to defeat Spider-Man but leave as they're on a timetable. Spider-Man quickly shows up to the ridealong, and George Stacy takes he and Sally to the bank, where it's discovered that the Enforcers broke through a wall into a dry cleaners from the bank. Meanwhile, Flash tells Harry, who is his partner on the ridealong, that he's annoyed at Harry for dropping out of the football team before the finals, and Harry admits that he was recovering from the Globulin Green he was taking at the time. This only enrages Flash further, as if it's discovered that Harry was on drugs, it could disqualify the team from the games they played.

Spectacular Spider-Man Episode Eleven: Group Therapy

First Aired: May 31st, 2008

Synopsis: Electro is released from therapy and contacts Doctor Octopus, who is in prison and has contacted him, as well as Vulture and the Enforcers; Vulture in turn has contacted Sandman and Rhino. That night Electro shuts down the prison's transformer which lets Rhino and Sandman free themselves and the others, who are given their gear by Hammerhead. In the Parker household, Peter finds out that Aunt May is feeling weak, but encourages her to go to a play she was planning on seeing with Anna Watson regardless. He goes to catch up with Eddie Brock, who's annoyed at him once more for seemingly taking photos of Spider-Man stealing the alien organism rather than calling the police. In the city, Rhino goes on a rampage and Spider-Man shows up, but is soon ambushed by the rest of the group. Aunt May is coincidentally in the area, and Spider-Man ushers her into her theatre, but unbeknownst to him she has a heart attack once inside. Spider-Man tries fighting the villains, but they've anticipated the tricks he used to defeat them last time and prepared for it. Spider-Man ends up escaping via the sewers, and when the villains futilely try to follow him they soon end up bickering.

Spectacular Spider-Man Episode Four: Market Forces

Market Forces


First Aired: March 22nd, 2008

Synopsis: A van is captured by Montana of the Enforcers, and it turns out to contain an advanced suit that Montana is going to wear. The next day, Peter finds that Aunt May is still behind on paying bills, and that she wants him to meet their neighbour's niece Mary Jane Watson, which he's opposed to. Peter goes to Harry's place to tutor him, and discovers that he's gotten an invitation to the school's Fall Formal. Peter debates asking Mary Jane to it, Harry's thinking about asking Gwen. Peter also gets an email to the Daily Bugle, telling him to collect his pay cheque, and when he's there Jonah asks for more photos of Spider-Man. While Peter's getting his pay cheque, he also ends up flirting with Betty Brant. Swinging out later as Spider-Man, two of the Big Man's thugs - Flint Marko and Alex O'Hirn - commit a robbery and intentionally let Spider-Man follow them. Spider-Man's attacked by Montana wearing his new suit, calling himself Shocker. Shocker manages to get Spider-Man into a rubbish compactor and activates it, but unbeknownst to him Spider-Man survives it. Unfortunately, Spider-Man's pay cheque got destroyed in the process.

Spider-Man: The Animated Series Episode Fifty-Seven: Six Forgotten Warriors, Chapter Four: The Six Fight Again

 The Six Fight Again

First Aired: October 10th, 1997

Synopsis: Robbie shows up at Omar Mosely's house for the keys he has to the doomsday device, but once Mosely takes him to the lockbox where he has them, Robbie reveals himself to be the Chameleon. Spider-Man and the Destroyer show up and get the keys back, but the rest of the Insidious Six attack and defeat Spider-Man and the Destroyer. The Black Marvel unexpectedly shows up and saves them, but Kingpin reveals that he's holding the real Robbie Robertson hostage, and forces the heroes to give him the two keys. After Robbie's freed, Destroyer is suspicious of the Black Marvel since he's supposed to be dead, but Black Marvel unmasks and reveals that he is and always has been Omar Mosely, as the original test subject was forbidden to participate by his father, but it was a good cover to keep. Black Marvel and Destroyer gather the remaining members of the Six - Miss America and the Whizzer - and they agree to fight again alongside Spider-Man to find the Thunderer and protect the last key.

Spider-Man: The Animated Series Episode Fifty-Six: Six Forgotten Warriors, Chapter Three: Secrets of the Six

 Secrets of the Six


First Aired: October 3rd, 1997

Synopsis: Peter and Robbie go to see Omar Mosely, his mentor, who reveals that he has Captain America's shield. Mosely gives the origin of Captain America and explains that after the super-soldier serum was lost, five more people were experimented on in an attempt to recreate the formula. They became the heroes The Destroyer, Miss America, The Thunderer, The Black Marvel, and The Whizzer, and although their powers had limited use and could be controlled via rings they wore, they fought alongside Captain America as the Six American Warriors. After discovering of a doomsday device the Red Skull had created, they went to stop him from using it, but in the process, Captain America and the Red Skull fell into some beams which caused them to vanish. The remaining warriors vowed to free Captain America one day, but were forced to disband. They each took one of the keys needed to activate the doomsday device to stop it from being activated. In the present, Kingpin reveals that he's used some databases he's hacked into to discover the identities of the warriors, and sends Rhino after The Whizzer and Vulture after Miss America.

Spider-Man: The Animated Series Episode Fifty-Five: Six Forgotten Warriors, Chapter Two: Unclaimed Legacy

First Aired: September 26th, 1997

Synopsis: Groitzig is taken to Silver Sable's employer by the Wild Pack, who unmasks before him and causes him to recoil in horror. In the apartment where Spider-Man and Robbie were attacked, Robbie disarms the bomb left there and the two of them escape from the Russian police who have arrived. The next day Robbie gets the address of Groitzig's daughter from his old friend Detective Boris, and he and Peter go to question her. She's reluctant to let them in until she realises that Peter is Richard and Mary's daughter. She remembers them coming to Moscow when she was young to warn her father to get out, since people would be after him for the doomsday device he created. He was forced to create it by the Red Skull, and it was hidden in New York. The only other information she has is that her father said he had to find the Six Forgotten Warriors. Groitzig's daughter reveals a hidden box full of information about the doomsday device which she wants to give to Peter, but her husband reveals that he's the Chameleon in disguise and gets away with it.

 Six Forgotten Warriors, Chapter One

First Aired: September 19th, 1997

Synopsis: A man goes to SHIELD headquarters, where Nick Fury says that he needs to stop May Parker. In Europe, an old man is hunted and captured by Silver Sable, and when the news gets to America, Robbie Robertson lets a mysterious figure know. For his part, when Kingpin hears about it he reveals that he's keen to capture the old man - a World War II scientist called Wolfgang Groitzig - and reassembles the Insidious Six to free Chameleon, replacing Mysterio with Vulture. In Queens, Peter finds his parents' old passports which shows they travelled all over the world, and is going to ask Aunt May about it when the man from the start of the episode, Keene Marlowe, shows up for a visit, claiming to be an old friend of Uncle Ben's. He looks around the house for a bit before returning to SHIELD, with Peter in costume as Spider-Man following him to the Helicarrier. While hiding in the Helicarrier's vents, Spider-Man overhears Nick Fury say that he can't let Richard and Mary Parker's names be cleared, as they're believed to be traitors.

Spider-Man: The Animated Series Episode Forty-Seven: Partners in Danger, Chapter 6 - The Awakening

First Aired: May 10th, 1997

Synopsis: Debbie Whitman's on an expedition to look for Michael Morbius, which she succeeds in doing. Morbius is hibernating, but a press conference is nevertheless held and a lot of people are upset that Professor Connors and Debbie want to try and revive Morbius, since it was discovered that he was responsible for draining plasma from people. For his part, Peter feels guilty since it was his blood that helped create Morbius. Felicia Hardy's planning a trip to Europe, but she calls it off when she sees the press conference, and goes to Whistler, Blade's mentor, for help as the Black Cat. When Debbie and Connors initially try to revive Morbius, they're unsuccessful, but unbeknownst to them Kingpin and Herbert Landon secretly watch the attempt, as they want neogenics research for themselves. They send Shocker with Landon to retrieve Morbius, and when Flash Thompson tries to stop them, Morbius is freed in the struggle, and is thirsty for plasma.

Spider-Man: The Animated Series Episode Fifteen: Neogenic Nightmare, Chapter 2 - Battle of the Insidious Six

First Aired: September 16th, 1995

Synopsis: Spider-Man is running away from the Insidious Six in a warehouse, unsure how to defeat them since his powers are still missing. At one point a crate of Mysterio's tech is knocked over, briefly creating a big hologram of the jungle. Eventually Spider-Man is captured and unmasked, but since he put up so little of a fight the villains think that Peter impersonated Spider-Man to save Aunt May. Doctor Octopus uses Peter to get rid of Aunt May, who thinks he's in hospital, then forces him to take them to the real Spider-Man. Before they leave the warehouse Peter's able to take some of Mysterio's tech. The rest of the Insidious Six, meanwhile, go to Silvermane's headquarters and capture him, since otherwise he'll have Kingpin killed since he hasn't defeated Spider-Man. They meet with Doctor Octopus and Peter on a skyscraper roof that he's claimed is where he'll meet Spider-Man.

Spider-Man: The Animated Series Episode Fourteen: Neogenic Nightmare, Chapter 1 - The Insidious Six

First Aired: September 9th, 1995

Synopsis: While swinging around the city and thinking about his love interests, Spider-Man finds his powers temporarily turning off. Meanwhile, Kingpin is having a meeting with some crime lords, who are annoyed that he hasn't dealt with Spider-Man. Kingpin reveals that he has a plan to deal with Spider-Man, and breaks Chameleon, Mysterio, Rhino, Shocker, Scorpion, and Doctor Octopus out of prison. Although some of them, notably Octopus, are reluctant to do so, they agree to work together as the Insidious Six. They don't commit any crimes to start out with, and so Peter sleeps for a whole day before they start, using Chameleon to frame Spider-Man as their leader. When he tries fighting them, he finds his powers turning off in battle, and has to escape via subway since he can't fight them.

Spider-Man: The Animated Series Episode Nine: The Alien Costume: Part 2

The Alien Costume, Part 2

First Aired: May 6th, 1995

Synopsis: Spider-Man is being hunted by some people who manage to gain the upper hand when they start using sonic weaponry on him. He's only able to escape when his new suit acts on its own and gets him to safety. Spider-Man later goes to Doctor Connors, and with a bit of difficulty is able to get him to cut off some of the suit. Connors then confirms Spider-Man's suspicions: it's alive. Worse, it's a symbiote and wants to bond completely with him. Spider-Man leaves in spite of Connors' protests that he needs to get rid of the suit. Meanwhile, John Jameson wakes up from the coma he's in and says that Rhino stole the Promethium X from the space shuttle, proving that Eddie Brock faked his photos of Spider-Man stealing it. Jonah fires him and publicly retracts the reward for capturing Spider-Man. With the news of Eddie being fired, Kingpin realises that there's someone who could trace the Promethium X to him, and sends Shocker after Eddie.

Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends Episode Fifteen: Along Came Spidey

Along Came Spidey

First Aired: October 2nd, 1982

Synopsis: Shocker escapes from the prison he's locked up in, and vows revenge on Spider-Man. The next day, he attempts to steal some jewels right when the Spider-Friends are nearby. The heroes change into their alter egos and try and stop him, but Shocker gets away, and in the process Aunt May is nearly hurt. While they're told that she's fine, Peter is blaming himself for it since he was engaging with Shocker at the time it happened. On the roof of the hospital, Peter tells his friends his origin - he was bitten by a radioactive spider and after learning about his powers, got to appear on a TV show. When the studio was being robbed, he didn't stop the thief since he didn't see it as being his job, but the robber later burgled his place and killed his Uncle Ben. After stopping the burglar, Peter learned that with great power there must also come great responsibility.
