Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Eighty-Eight: The New Sinister Six, Part One

The New Sinister Six, Part One


First Aired: June 12th, 2016

Synopsis: Spider-Man is helping Doctor Connors set up an anti-HYDRA weapon, and is given the key to look after so that it can't be used by any villains. He then gets a call from Scarlet Spider, reminding him that there's a party for Aunt May. He heads there with a cake but encounters the villain Shriek on the way, robbing a bank. Spider-Man defeats her but when he gets to Aunt May's discovers that he mixed up his cake with one of the bags of money Shriek stole. Peter's other spider-themed allies are there too, but they all get a distress call from SHIELD, which they have to go answer. Before leaving, Peter gives Aunt May the key to the anti-HYDRA weapon to keep it safe. At the Triskelion they find Doctor Octopus there with Electro, Rhino, Kraven the Hunter, Miles' Green Goblin, and Hydro-Man, forming a new Sinister Six. Spider-Man wants the team to retreat for safety's sake, but in doing so runs into Squirrel Girl, Cloak, and Dagger. Scarlet Spider points out that this is their home, and Spider-Man is convinced to keep everyone back to fight the villains.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Eighty-One: Miles From Home

First Aired: February 28th, 2016

Synopsis: Miles Morales is fighting the Green Goblin when the Goblin disappears, to Miles' confusion. In the regular universe, Spider-Man finds Doctor Octopus and Baron Mordo casting a spell using the Siege Perilous, which summons Miles' version of the Goblin. They reveal to him that they summoned him here to kill Spider-Man, since he's the only Goblin that's successfully done so in all the realities. Spider-Man briefly fights Goblin and is assisted by Doctor Strange, who has appeared since the Goblin being there is somehow disrupting reality. As they keep fighting Spider-Man inexplicably decides that "Goblin's throwing off the balance because I'm not the Spider-Man who counterbalances him," which means that he needs to get Miles. Doctor Strange is able to open a portal to Miles' Earth using the Siege Perilous, and Spider-Man goes through it. He finds Miles there and while Miles wants to stay at home since it's his mum's birthday, he agrees to come to Spider-Man's universe and help.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Sixty-Four: The Spider-Verse, Part 4

The Spider-Verse, Part 4


First Aired: March 26th, 2015

Synopsis: Spider-Man returns to his own world and finds that his communicator has conveniently broken. Since he doesn't have the time to visit SHIELD he goes directly to the Hellcarrier, where he finds the Green Goblin powering himself up with a serum made from the DNA of all the alternate universe Spider-Men. Spider-Man sabotages it but it's too late - the Goblin has gained more powers, and to make things worse, he now knows Spidey's real identity. As the fight with Spider-Man continues the Goblin mutates further into the Spider-Goblin, sporting extra limbs and acidic spit. Spider-Man manages to find the Siege Perilous with Electro still trapped inside it. He gets Electro to summon all of the Spider-Men he met over the last few episodes to help defeat the Green Goblin. By working together the spiders are able to hold down the Goblin, and Spider-Man then uses Electro to de-ionise the serum, turning the Goblin back into Norman Osborn.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Sixty-Three: The Spider-Verse, Part 3

The Spider-Verse, Part 3


First Aired: March 19th, 2015

Synopsis: The next universe Spider-Man ends up in takes him to York, a medieval village. As Spider-Man approaches he sees a figure called the Alchemist extorting money from the citizens in return for protecting them, but Spider-Man's soon spotted and captured, having been mistaken for a witch. He's saved from being burned at the stake by this universe's Spider-Man, an armoured figure called Spyder-Knight, but the Green Goblin soon appears, grabs Spyder-Knight's DNA, and leaves through a portal. Spider-Man wants to follow but a giant steampunk octopus called the Kraken appears out of a nearby lake, which Spyder-Knight has to fight. As much as Spider-Man wants to leave through the portal he stays to help Spyder-Knight, and in battle Spyder-Knight mentions that the Kraken is what the Alchemist protects the people from. Once the Kraken is defeated it's revealed that the Alchemist, this universe's version of Doctor Octopus, was controlling it all along. Although the portal closes, Spyder-Knight takes Spider-Man to Merlin, this universe's Doctor Strange equivalent, and he's able to reopen it.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Sixty-Two: The Spider-Verse, Part 2

The Spider-Verse, Part 2


First Aired: March 12th, 2015

Synopsis: Spider-Man arrives in a black-and-white world and finds the Green Goblin being chased by cops. Spider-Man Noir arrives to fight the Goblin and with Spider-Man's help they're able to knock the Goblin into the river, temporarily taking him out of the picture. Noir is suspicious of Spider-Man, however, until Spider-Man unmasks. Nevertheless Noir insists that he works alone and that he's distanced himself from Aunt May and Mary Jane to protect them. He keeps evading Spider-Man, until a radio report has the Green Goblin capturing report Mary Jane and holding her in a blimp. Spider-Man and Spider-Man Noir go after the blimp using an old plane and Spider-Man's able to save Mary Jane when she's dangled out of the blimp. He then has to save some people who fall out of the blimp but Spider-Man Noir tags in and fights the Goblin inside the blimp. Although it looks like Goblin is defeated, he recovers and takes Noir's DNA, then sets the blimp to crash.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Sixty-One: The Spider-Verse, Part 1

First Aired: March 5th, 2015

Synopsis: Spider-Man sneaks into one of the Goblin's lairs where he finds the Goblin absorbing Electro into the Siege Perilous, stating that he's going to travel to alternate dimensions to absorb Spider-Man DNA. Naturally Spider-Man won't stand for this, but when he fights the Goblin a portal's opened and Spider-Man ends up in one of those alternate dimensions - the futuristic New York of 2099. With the Goblin nowhere to be seen he goes to stop a bank robbery which the news reports, but after stopping the robots committing it is attacked by the Spider-Man of 2099, who thinks that Spider-Man is a fake of some kind. As they continue to fight the Goblin appears and attacks them, and is able to get Spider-Man 2099's DNA. He disappears into a portal while Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2099 work to save a building damaged during the fight. In the aftermath Spider-Man 2099 is convinced that Spidey is the real deal, and thanks him for helping to inspire him. Spider-Man goes into the still-open portal after Goblin.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Sixty: New Warriors

First Aired: October 14th, 2014

Synopsis: Spider-Man introduces his team to the New Warriors - Agent Venom, Iron Spider, Ka-Zar and Zabu. They start a training session but are interrupted by Taskmaster teleporting in with his own team, consisting of Cloak, Dagger, and Vulture. Cloak teleports away Spider-Man's original team before Spider-Man and the New Warriors are locked in the room by Taskmaster. They escape via a passageway and then head to where prisoners are incarcerated, realising that Taskmaster's there to free people, but they screw up and accidentally free Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Beetle, and Scorpion. The Goblin teleports away with Taskmaster's team after breaking Amadeus' Iron Spider outfit, and after a brief fight with the remaining villains Spidey and his team make a tactical retreat. Doctor Octopus, Beetle, and Scorpion start to escape the helicarrier using a jet, but Vulture, wanting revenge on Ock, manages to damage it badly enough that it returns to the helicarrier.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Fifty-Two: Ultimate

First Aired: November 10th, 2013

Synopsis: Spider-Man's riding around on the spider-cycle when the old SHIELD helicarrier, previously destroyed, bursts out of the water. Spider-Man gets onto it and is attacked by the Green Goblin and his team, all of whom have been given the same serum that transformed Norman Osborn and are now goblins themselves. The Green Goblin reveals that he's planning on using the serum on all of New York from the helicarrier, which he dubs the Hellcarrier. Spider-Man tries fleeing but is chased by his team and has to fight them until SHIELD are able to evacuate him. Coulson gives Spider-Man a briefcase from Doctor Connors which contains an anti-goblin innoculator, before Spider-Man returns to the Hellcarrier to confront the Goblin. The Green Goblin reveals that he wants to transform all of New York so that he'll have a kingdom with which to take over the world, before Spider-Man's team reappear and attack him again.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Fifty-One: Return of the Sinister Six

First Aired: November 3rd, 2013

Synopsis: Spider-Man and Iron Patriot are in the sewers chasing after the Lizard, who is wearing a high-tech suit. When Iron Patriot damages the walls of the area they're in Spider-Man has to hold it up, and while Iron Patriot fixes it up Lizard escapes. Spider-Man notices some scrawls on a wall, and deduces that it's a chemical formula. He creates it back on the SHIELD Helicarrier and speculates that it'll cure the Lizard, and that it was written by Connors, still trying to break free of the Lizard's body. Spider-Man and his team hear about a prison breakout, so they head there alongside Iron Patriot, who was also on the helicarrier. They split up at the prison and Spider-Man finds the Sinister Six there, all wearing upgraded suits, and with Beetle having been replaced by Scorpion.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Forty-Three: Venom Bomb

First Aired: July 21st, 2013

Synopsis: Spider-Man and his team are fighting the Green Goblin after he was found by SHIELD satellites. They're able to defeat him but are suspicious of how easy it was. Spider-Man visits Harry Osborn to let him know, but all Harry cares about is returning his father to normal since he's sick. Spidey next heads to the helicarrier, where he finds out from Nick Fury that the Goblin will be held on the moon. Spidey protests that they should be trying to cure him, but Fury doesn't listen. For the moment, the Goblin is still on the helicarrier, however, and he spits out a vial containing a symbiote which merges with another symbiote in SHIELD's custody, before the two start infecting SHIELD agents. Spider-Man, meanwhile, tries talking the imprisoned Doctor Octopus into curing Norman, but has to leave when symbiotes attack, leading to Spider-Man fighting a symbiote-possessed Nick Fury and Agent Coulson. The Goblin is freed by symbiotes and goes to Doctor Octopus for revenge, but Spider-Man arrives and saves Doctor Octopus using the Iron Spider armour.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Thirty-Four: Carnage

First Aired: March 31st, 2013

Synopsis: Spider-Man is swinging through the city when he's attacked by the Green Goblin. They fight for a bit but Spider-Man eventually has to help hold up part of a building which collapses, leading the Goblin to assume he's dead. Before leaving, he mentions that he has a family matter to attend to. Spider-Man's unearthed from rubble by his team, and seeing as how the Goblin mentioned a family matter, he visits Harry Osborn as Peter Parker. The Goblin attacks them, but to Harry and Peter's surprise it turns out it's Peter he's after. Although Spider-Man's team tries to fight the Goblin, the Goblin defeats them and takes Peter to a hidden lab of his. He reveals that as he's smarter and more likely to appreciate power than Harry, he's going to give him power, before injecting him with the Venom symbiote. It turns red and the Green Goblin dubs the new being Carnage, before ordering him to kill Spider-Man and his team, who he has found out survived.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Twenty-Six: Rise of the Goblin

First Aired: October 28th, 2012

Synopsis: The Green Goblin attacks Harry Osborn on his way to school, and in spite of Spider-Man's protests that he wants to fight him alone, his teammates jump in and fight him. Harry soon discovers that the Goblin is his father and is annoyed at the superheroes when they hurt him. For Harry's safety they take him to the SHIELD Helicarrier as SHIELD agents come into the school to deal with the Goblin. Shortly after the heroes arrive on the helicarrier, the Goblin comes bursting in on a SHIELD plane he's somehow hijacked, and when Nick Fury says that they can work out a cure, the Goblin laughs, saying that he's finally strong. Harry tries talking his father down, but Norman mentions that the serum he took has Spider-Man's DNA in it, which through a logic process only he understands, leads Harry to determine that Spider-Man must be responsible for Norman's transformation. Spider-Man in turn isn't able to explain what really happened.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Twenty-Five: Revealed

First Aired: October 28th, 2012

Synopsis: Peter Parker, Harry Osborn, and Norman Osborn are going out for dinner to celebrate that Harry's gotten some great test scores, but Peter gets a call from his teammates asking for help as Spider-Man, and Norman gets a call from Doctor Octopus, leading to the two of them leaving. Spider-Man shows up to an Oscorp warehouse where his team are fighting the Frightful Four, who release octobots and reveal that the whole thing is a trap. Spider-Man's teammates defeat the octobots without difficulty, but afterwards realise that Spider-Man is missing. A tiny octobot leaves the warehouse, and the team decide to follow it to see if it leads them to Spidey. Spider-Man himself wakes up in a lair of Doctor Octopus' with his communicator missing. Doctor Octopus takes some of Spider-Man's blood and starts making a serum with it, similar to the process that created Venom. Spider-Man manages to break free and destroy some equipment of Doctor Octopus', but he's then taken out by an unexpected Norman Osborn, who electrocutes him with a high-tech glove.

Spectacular Spider-Man Episode Twenty-Six: Final Curtain

Synopsis: Spider-Man is fighting the Green Goblin's gang in an attempt to find out where he is, but they don't know. After returning home he gets a call from Gwen, asking him to come over to hers, where he finds Harry. Although Peter initially assumes that Harry is the Green Goblin, Harry says that although he's been tempted, he hasn't taken any Globulin Green for a while, and that he was recently captured by the Goblin. Peter starts to wonder whether maybe his original suspicions were correct, and Norman Osborn is the Green Goblin. After Harry leaves, Peter admits the truth to Gwen - he's not sure how he got together with Liz, and he actually likes her. She admits that the feeling's mutual, but that they should break up with their current partners before anything else. Peter then heads to the Osborns' as Spider-Man, and on confronting Norman about the secret passage he saw the latter exit, it's explained that it's just a wine cellar. Norman also points out that he was seen at Oscorp at the same time that Green Goblin attacked it. A moment later bombs explode on the balcony, and Spider-Man's attacked by the Green Goblin, who leaves after a brief fight. Norman realises that whoever the Green Goblin is, it must be someone with access to Globulin Green, and as it was a secret project, that only leave Donald Menken as a suspect. Unfortunately, Menken's disappeared.

Spectacular Spider-Man Episode Twenty-Five: Opening Night

First Aired: November 18th, 2009

Synopsis: Norman Osborn is showing off the Vault - a high-security prison - to J. Jonah Jameson, where Spider-Man is being led into a cell. As a favour to Norman, Spider-Man's agreed to be locked up and to try to escape so as to test its security, but unbeknownst to either of them, Black Cat is breaking into the prison at the same time for unknown reasons. Short after Spider-Man's locked up, Norman Osborn has to leave due to a phone call. Elsewhere, the school's play is doing its opening night, and there's no sign of Harry Osborn, whose role as Puck gets filled in by Hobie Brown. Spider-Man manages to escape from the cell he's in when guards show up, hiding behind webbing and jumping out when they open the door. The prison starts to enter lockdown but outside it the Green Goblin shows up and remotely controls the prison, keeping guards away from Spider-Man. When Spider-Man passes by cells full of some former foes of his, the Goblin opens them up, and Spider-Man has to fight them. While he's doing so, Black Cat breaks into the cell of a prisoner who turns out to be her father, who she's planning on breaking out. Seeing Spider-Man in trouble, she opts to assist him.

Spectacular Spider-Man Episode Nine: The Uncertainty Principle

First Aired: May 10th, 2008

Synopsis: Halloween is coming up, and there's going to be a carnival in Manhattan. The Green Goblin attacks Hammerhead's car and captures him, but Hammerhead refuses to work with him. Later, the Green Goblin meets Tombstone in his office and reveals that thanks to Hammerhead he has a drive with evidence of Tombstone's crimes on it, and that he'll release it later that night - Tombstone will know where. Meanwhile, with Harry Osborn's increasingly erratic behaviour worrying Gwen, she asks Peter to look for him, and as he's heading over to the Osborns' as Spider-Man, he runs into the Green Goblin, who lets him know about the drive before losing him. When Spidey gets close to the Osborns' he sees the Green Goblin enter, and upon going inside sees Norman emerge from a secret entrance, shortly before Harry returns home. Not sure what to make of it, Spider-Man decides not to see Harry immediately and instead calls him and asks to meet him at the Halloween carnival. Shortly afterwards, Norman returns to Oscorp, but while he's copying some files from his computer it gets attacked by the Green Goblin. Shortly afterwards, some pumpkin fireworks announce the Green Goblin's presence at the Halloween carnival, and Spider-Man and Tombstone follow them to the factory where Hammerhead is being held - at which point it's revealed to all be a trap by the Goblin; there was never a drive with evidence.

Spectacular Spider-Man Episode Seven: Catalysts

First Aired: April 26th, 2008

Synopsis: Spider-Man is at a fancy party fighting the new supervillain the Green Goblin, and thinks back to how his evening started. Earlier that night Harry was at the Fall Formal and popular since he was hosting the afterparty, but Peter arrived with Mary Jane to everyone's shock. Harry was jealous at the attention, and things were made worse when his date Glory's ex, Kong, convinced her to get back with him. As a result Harry ran off an drank from a vial labelled Globulin Green. At the Daily Bugle, J. Jonah Jameson was getting ready for a fancy party that he was taking his son John to since John's going into space next week. They showed up at the party, which was being hosted by Tombstone, but it was soon attacked by the Green Goblin, using the Goblin Glider he'd stolen from Oscorp and with some thugs of Tombstone's that he'd turned. Jonah managed to get a call to the Bugle and request that Peter show up, since this is exactly his sort of scene. When the call got through to Peter he headed off, and shortly after arriving as Spider-Man, ended up where the episode started.

Spider-Man Unlimited Episode Thirteen: Destiny Unleashed

First Aired: March 31st, 2001

Synopsis: The High Evolutionary is annoyed by everyone taking advantage of him and rants about it to the Knights of Wundagore, then declares that the dawning of the new world order is beginning. In the city, Spider-Man sees an army of machine men and is surprised when they don't attack him; he guesses that they have a more important mission and is proven correct when they start evacuating people from their homes and scanning their identification chips. Spider-Man can't save anyone since there are too many machine men, but when he returns home he finds Naoko being questioned by one since she's suspected of associating with Spider-Man. Spider-Man throws some bins around to create noise and distract the machine men. As Peter, he watches an announcement with Naoko from the High Evolutionary, saying that the machine men will keep searching buildings and emptying them out until the rebels and Spider-Man surrender. Peter changes back to Spider-Man and stops Sir Ram from destroying a building, but he gets attacked by machine men and buried in rubble.

Spider-Man Unlimited Episode Nine: Sustenance

Sustenance

First Aired: March 3rd, 2001

Synopsis: In Atlantic City, two bestials are trying to run away from what they call a "freak factory", but one of them is captured by machine men and Lady Ursula while another is mysteriously dragged underground. Back in New York, Peter decide to leave Naoko's place since she's still getting harassed by her husband and he now knows where his spaceship is - Atlantic City - but when he leaves he's attacked by the Green Goblin. Peter gets away and changes to Spider-Man, but a camera the Green Goblin set up catches this and he now knows who Spider-Man is. Spider-Man goes to Atlantic City, secretly followed by the Green Goblin, and finds a giant dome where the spaceship supposedly is. Spider-Man's attacked by the Goblin until he mentions that he's trying to leave, at which point the Goblin is happy to help him. Guards from the dome arrive and the two team up to defeat them. During the fight Spider-Man and the Green Goblin have the ground below them collapse, and they find themselves surrounded by bestial rejects.

Spider-Man Unlimited Episode Three: Where Evil Nests

First Aired: October 16th, 1999

Synopsis: Peter Parker is getting kicked out of his apartment by Naoko Yamada-Jones since he hasn't paid rent and hasn't got a job, but he says he'll get a job taking photos of Spider-Man. As a result of their fighting Naoko's son Shane runs off since he hates fights and Naoko runs off after him. She gets grabbed by tentacles and taken into the sewers, which Shane sees. When Peter runs into him, he says that she was taken by the green thing. After Peter returns Shane home, he heads out as Spider-Man to find Naoko, and runs into Counter-Earth's version of the Green Goblin who he assumes kidnapped Naoko. They fight for a bit but Machine Men show up and they have to team up to defeat them. During the fight they see Shane head into the sewers, since he has a tracker for his mum and thinks he can find her. After defeating the Machine Men Green Goblin and Spider-Man go into the sewers after Shane and are attacked by a giant green blob, the source of the tentacles which grabbed Naoko.
