Freaky
First Aired: June 17th, 2012
Synopsis: The mutant villain Mesmero is mind controlling people, and gets them to attack Spider-Man when he arrives on the scene. Wolverine shows up and although he's aggressive towards both Spider-Man and the civilians, he intimidates Mesmero enough that the villain undoes his mind control. SHIELD show up and grab Mesmero, but Spider-Man is disgusted by Wolverine's attitude, while Wolverine thinks that Spider-Man isn't pragmatic enough. Mesmero takes note of this. The next day, Peter starts to feel tired in class, and after closing his eyes finds himself in Wolverine's body, in a sleazy hotel. In school, Wolverine of course finds himself in Peter's body, and leaves class since he of course gives zero shits. Peter calls up Wolverine on his own mobile, and they realise that they swapped bodies, but it's at that point that Peter is attacked by Sabretooth. Peter tries telling Wolverine to stay in class, but the phone gets cut during the fight. He's unable to convince Sabretooth that he's not really Wolverine, so escapes on a bus.

Spider-Man webs his pumpkin bomb to his hand, which drives him off. Wolverine agrees to investigate the Brand Corporation with Spider-Man but is still suspicious. Meanwhile, Beast talks to Landon's assistant, who thinks that it's a good thing if mutants don't exist so they don't suffer. She points out that Beast himself tried to cure himself of being a mutant, which he defends as being a mistake. While they chat, Wolverine and Spider-Man make their way through Brand Corporation, fighting security, and Hobgoblin steals all of Landon's research from a computer when he too breaks into the building.

Spider-Man: The Animated Series Episode Seventeen: Neogenic Nightmare, Chapter 4 - The Mutant Agenda
The Mutant Agenda
First Aired: September 30th, 1995Synopsis: Spider-Man goes to visit Professor X, as he's an expert in mutations and might be able to deal with the problem of Spider-Man continuing to mutate. He gets into a fight with the X-Men before Professor X breaks them all up, and explains to Spider-Man that he doesn't cure mutants - he helps them. Spider-Man is annoyed and leaves, but a sympathetic Beast follows him. Elsewhere, scientist Herbert Landon meets with the Hobgoblin. He gives Hobgoblin a scientific device, but then attempts to blow up Hobgoblin and fails. He's then contacted by Kingpin, who's funding Landon's research into mutants with the hopes that Landon will be able to create genetically altered mutants to use as super soldiers. Landon's got a conference on the next day to present his work. Meanwhile, Beast catches up to Spider-Man and suggests that Spider-Man go to the conference, since the research could be relevant to him. Spider-Man isn't ready to listen, and leaves, but after he's gone some soldiers attack and capture Beast.
