Marvel's Spider-Man Episode Fifty: Goblin War, Part Three

Goblin War, Part Three


First Aired: November 24th, 2019

Synopsis: Spider-Girl and Ghost Spider fight Electro and some goblins using her technology before Spider-Man shows up to help them. They escape the subway tunnel they're in when Crossbones, also a member of the Goblin Nation, shows up and blows it up. Spider-Man then takes the others and Miles to the lair that Doctor Octopus works out of. Harry is also there, and he explains that Vulture will now know of the mech he built, which has three keys needed to activate it. Spider-Girl and Miles go for one of the keys but are attacked by Electro, while Ghost Spider goes for another and is attacked by the Wake Riders. Harry and Spider-Man, meanwhile, are attacked by Silvermane and his cyber-goblins when they go for their part. At the same time, Anna Maria comes in to help Doctor Octopus discover why the spider-bots can't see the goblins.

Marvel's Spider-Man Episode Thirty-Eight: The Living Brain

The Living Brain


First Aired: August 13th, 2018

Synopsis: Inside the robotic Living Brain, Doctor Octopus reveals that his plan this entire time was to zap Spider-Man with energy from a device he once designed for Norman Osborn. Spider-Man escapes the Living Brain and gets outside, but collapses as police arrive. The Living Brain powers down and is taken to the evidence locker while Spider-Man is arrested and urged to unmask by police chief Watanabe. Before he can do so the facility goes into lockdown and Doctor Octopus announces over the interface that he's going to blow it up with a bomb, forcing Spider-Man to confront him. While Watanabe undoes Spider-Man's handcuffs and lets him go after Doctor Octopus, Miles escapes the battle scene at Oscorp and tries breaking into the police facility to help Spider-Man.

First Aired: August 6th, 2018

Synopsis: Peter finishes his power amplifier for Horizon's open house then heads to Horizon High as Spider-Man, where he's attacked by Electro, a woman in an electricity-generating suit. She ends up taking his power amplifier when he drops it but when she uses it on her suit it turns her into a being of electrical energy. As the fight breaks into Horizon Spider-Man is able to use equipment from the other open house projects to defeat her, but in the process Horizon is damaged badly enough that the open house can no longer be held. Spider-Man vows to find out who put the bounty on his head and stop them, and as such goes to the warehouse where, according to Prowler, the bounty was first put on his head. He finds a Daily Bugle flash drive with footage of him on it, and realises that J. Jonah Jameson must have put the bounty on his head.

Synopsis: Spider-Man is helping Doctor Connors set up an anti-HYDRA weapon, and is given the key to look after so that it can't be used by any villains. He then gets a call from Scarlet Spider, reminding him that there's a party for Aunt May. He heads there with a cake but encounters the villain Shriek on the way, robbing a bank. Spider-Man defeats her but when he gets to Aunt May's discovers that he mixed up his cake with one of the bags of money Shriek stole. Peter's other spider-themed allies are there too, but they all get a distress call from SHIELD, which they have to go answer. Before leaving, Peter gives Aunt May the key to the anti-HYDRA weapon to keep it safe. At the Triskelion they find Doctor Octopus there with Electro, Rhino, Kraven the Hunter, Miles' Green Goblin, and Hydro-Man, forming a new Sinister Six. Spider-Man wants the team to retreat for safety's sake, but in doing so runs into Squirrel Girl, Cloak, and Dagger. Scarlet Spider points out that this is their home, and Spider-Man is convinced to keep everyone back to fight the villains.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Sixty-Four: The Spider-Verse, Part 4

The Spider-Verse, Part 4


First Aired: March 26th, 2015

Synopsis: Spider-Man returns to his own world and finds that his communicator has conveniently broken. Since he doesn't have the time to visit SHIELD he goes directly to the Hellcarrier, where he finds the Green Goblin powering himself up with a serum made from the DNA of all the alternate universe Spider-Men. Spider-Man sabotages it but it's too late - the Goblin has gained more powers, and to make things worse, he now knows Spidey's real identity. As the fight with Spider-Man continues the Goblin mutates further into the Spider-Goblin, sporting extra limbs and acidic spit. Spider-Man manages to find the Siege Perilous with Electro still trapped inside it. He gets Electro to summon all of the Spider-Men he met over the last few episodes to help defeat the Green Goblin. By working together the spiders are able to hold down the Goblin, and Spider-Man then uses Electro to de-ionise the serum, turning the Goblin back into Norman Osborn.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Sixty-One: The Spider-Verse, Part 1

The Spider-Verse, Part 1

First Aired: March 5th, 2015

Synopsis: Spider-Man sneaks into one of the Goblin's lairs where he finds the Goblin absorbing Electro into the Siege Perilous, stating that he's going to travel to alternate dimensions to absorb Spider-Man DNA. Naturally Spider-Man won't stand for this, but when he fights the Goblin a portal's opened and Spider-Man ends up in one of those alternate dimensions - the futuristic New York of 2099. With the Goblin nowhere to be seen he goes to stop a bank robbery which the news reports, but after stopping the robots committing it is attacked by the Spider-Man of 2099, who thinks that Spider-Man is a fake of some kind. As they continue to fight the Goblin appears and attacks them, and is able to get Spider-Man 2099's DNA. He disappears into a portal while Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2099 work to save a building damaged during the fight. In the aftermath Spider-Man 2099 is convinced that Spidey is the real deal, and thanks him for helping to inspire him. Spider-Man goes into the still-open portal after Goblin.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Fifty-One: Return of the Sinister Six

First Aired: November 3rd, 2013

Synopsis: Spider-Man and Iron Patriot are in the sewers chasing after the Lizard, who is wearing a high-tech suit. When Iron Patriot damages the walls of the area they're in Spider-Man has to hold it up, and while Iron Patriot fixes it up Lizard escapes. Spider-Man notices some scrawls on a wall, and deduces that it's a chemical formula. He creates it back on the SHIELD Helicarrier and speculates that it'll cure the Lizard, and that it was written by Connors, still trying to break free of the Lizard's body. Spider-Man and his team hear about a prison breakout, so they head there alongside Iron Patriot, who was also on the helicarrier. They split up at the prison and Spider-Man finds the Sinister Six there, all wearing upgraded suits, and with Beetle having been replaced by Scorpion.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Thirty-Two: The Sinister Six

The Sinister Six


First Aired: February 17th, 2013

Synopsis: Spider-Man is training with his team when he gets a call from Doctor Connors, asking him to come to Doctor Octopus' underwater lab. Spider-Man heads there on his own since his team aren't interested in coming, but when he arrives finds that Connors is restrained and the whole thing is a trap. Doctor Octopus, Rhino, Electro, Kraven the Hunter, and the Beetle show up. Doctor Octopus forcibly transforms Connors into the Lizard, and together they form the Sinister Six. Spider-Man runs off, unable to contact his team since the signal is being scrambled. When the Sinister Six split up to find him, Spider-Man webs up the Lizard and manages to get him to transform back into Connors - but Ock transforms him once more. Spider-Man is knocked out and the Sinister Six agree that the Lizard should be the one to unmask him, since he's the one who defeated him - but the Lizard turns on the villains instead. In the fight Rhino accidentally smashes a wall which causes water to start flooding in, and Spider-Man recovers then somehow gets outside.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Twenty-Eight: Electro

First Aired: January 21st, 2013

Synopsis: Spider-Man is fighting Electro, while on a billboard in Times Square J. Jonah Jameson brags about the Daily Bugle's new satellite system. Spider-Man tasers Electro with his webs, which causes Electro to disappear for some reason. When Peter's at home he tries telling his teammates what happened, but all of them are preoccupied with various electronics and don't listen. The electricity soon goes out though, and Electro appears on television, now in an energy form. He declares that Spider-Man supercharged him, and demands a ransom or he'll permanently shut down the power in Manhattan. The team head into the city, albeit with difficulty since Spider-Man's Spider-Cycle isn't working and they can't contact SHIELD. They run into civilians who are annoyed at Spider-Man, and while dealing with them run into Batroc the Leaper, who's on a crime spree. Batroc is able to easily defeat them all since they're not communicating well. The team eventually make it into the city, where they find Electro causing multiple vehicles and electronic devices to go crazy.

Spectacular Spider-Man Episode Seventeen: Shear Strength

Synopsis: The Master Planner is revealed to be Doctor Octopus, who only pretended to have mental issues to throw suspicion away from himself. Peter meets with Norman Osborn who's setting up an old building to be destroyed, but the countdown starts early and nothing can be done to stop it. Changing to Spider-Man, Peter's able to save everyone, not knowing that the countdown starting early is due to Octopus controlling it remotely. Later, Peter's getting coffee with Gwen and Mary Jane, and although Peter keeps paying attention to Liz, Mary Jane is trying to get him and Gwen together. The electronics in the coffee shop, then across the city, start going crazy, and in the confusion Gwen is grabbed by Vulture and Electro. Peter changes to Spider-Man and goes after Electro and Tinkerer, who are getting away in a van, and manages to intimidate Tinkerer into giving up the location of the Master Planner's lair; in the river. At said lair, Doctor Octopus uses Gwen's phone to call George Stacy, and forces him to get security codes from the homeland security base in New York if he doesn't want Gwen to be killed.

Spectacular Spider-Man Episode Sixteen: Reinforcement

Synopsis: Spider-Man meets with Blackie Gaxton, a criminal who has information on the tech that Mysterio stole. Blackie tells Spider-Man that Mysterio's working for someone big who's been hiring a lot recently, and a low-level thug who tries running off, Patch, tells Spider-Man that said person is the Master Planner. Elsewhere, on the Master Planner's orders the Tinkerer gathers Mysterio, Vulture, Sandman, Rhino, Electro, and Kraven the Hunter. When getting Electro from the asylum he's in, Doctor Octopus, also taking part in therapy there, is shaky and nervous, and refuses to come. The villains are all introduced to the Master Planner, who contacts them via a screen and is only seen as a silhouette. He tells them all that he has a plan to stop Spider-Man. Later, Peter and his friends are ice skating at Rockefeller Center and he tries talking to Gwen when Liz Allan focuses her attention on Flash yet again. Gwen is offended that she's Peter's second choice and that he hasn't talked to her since they kissed, and so Mary Jane offers Peter some help. He goes off to get her some cocoa, but Vulture and Electro arrive on the scene, as Kraven's senses let him smell that Spider-Man is nearby. Switching to Spider-Man, Peter's unable to lure the villains away from civilians.

Spectacular Spider-Man Episode Eleven: Group Therapy

First Aired: May 31st, 2008

Synopsis: Electro is released from therapy and contacts Doctor Octopus, who is in prison and has contacted him, as well as Vulture and the Enforcers; Vulture in turn has contacted Sandman and Rhino. That night Electro shuts down the prison's transformer which lets Rhino and Sandman free themselves and the others, who are given their gear by Hammerhead. In the Parker household, Peter finds out that Aunt May is feeling weak, but encourages her to go to a play she was planning on seeing with Anna Watson regardless. He goes to catch up with Eddie Brock, who's annoyed at him once more for seemingly taking photos of Spider-Man stealing the alien organism rather than calling the police. In the city, Rhino goes on a rampage and Spider-Man shows up, but is soon ambushed by the rest of the group. Aunt May is coincidentally in the area, and Spider-Man ushers her into her theatre, but unbeknownst to him she has a heart attack once inside. Spider-Man tries fighting the villains, but they've anticipated the tricks he used to defeat them last time and prepared for it. Spider-Man ends up escaping via the sewers, and when the villains futilely try to follow him they soon end up bickering.

Spectacular Spider-Man Episode Two: Interactions

First Aired: March 8th, 2008

Synopsis: Professor Connors is doing experimentation with electric eels, and as part of the experiments some equipment needs to be upgraded by Max Dillon. While Max is working on the equipment he gets electrocuted by it before being shocked by the tank full of eels, which breaks. He's taken to hospital as a result. The next day, Peter's at school where he finds out that the Daily Bugle wants photos of Spider-Man, and is annoyed that Jonah stole his idea. Liz Allan gets a terrible score on a test, while Peter gets a good one, so the teacher recommends that Peter tutor her. In hospital later, Max Dillon's body is continuously generating electricity, so he gets placed in a suit to help contain it and protect himself. As a result electrical devices around him start acting strangely, and he gets angry enough to leave hospital and head to the Silver Spoon cafe, where Peter is trying to tutor Liz, who isn't listening. Max finds that his powers stop him from drinking coffee and he angrily leaves the cafe, leading to Peter ditching Liz and going after him as Spider-Man. He takes photos of himself and rips off Max's mask, causing electricity to start shooting out everywhere.

Spider-Man: The New Animated Series Episode Eleven: When Sparks Fly

When Sparks Fly

First Aired: August 29th, 2003

Synopsis: Two teenagers are hanging around an empty warehouse when a giant fan turns on with blue electricity and they're nearly sucked into it before Spider-Man saves them. They tell him that a ghost was behind it but he's understandably sceptical. The next day, Mary Jane and her friend Sally are attending a lecture about electro-negativity when Sally's screen starts displaying creepy messages to her. It prompts her to ask who got the highest score in class, and on Sally asking the lecturer she says it was Max Dillon. Sally is disturbed by this, and when she's studying later that night her TV displays a picture of Max's head and text appears saying that he's getting stronger. Later, the professor is heading home when Electro appears and starts electrocuting her, with a generator assisting. Spider-Man appears and uses his webbing to shut down the generator, which drives Electro off. While Peter, Mary Jane, and Harry watch an ambulance take away the lecturer, Sally shows up rants about how Max has returned, before giving Mary Jane a recording of her study notes, dictated.

Spider-Man: The New Animated Series Episode Eight: The Party

First Aired: August 8th, 2003

Synopsis: University student Max Dillon is blindfolded and unable to hear in the back of a limousine by some jerks from a fraternity, led by Doug Reisman.When they stop for hot dogs he breaks free and manages to drive the limousine, but since he can't see it's chaotic, and he's only saved from landing in a pile of wet cement by Spider-Man. Later, at university, Peter Parker is late for a lecture and scolded, and when he gets asked to a party by Harry Osborn and Mary Jane, says he'll be late but they're sceptical that he'll show up. Peter talks to Max Dillon who tells him about what happened with the limo, then tries talking to Reisman, since he wants to join their fraternity. Max is invited to the party that's going on that night. That evening, Peter tells Harry that he doesn't think he can come to the party since he was scolded in class, and Harry reveals that and Mary Jane have a bet as to whether Peter will show up - Harry doesn't think that he will.

Spider-Man Unlimited Episode Eight: Ill-Met By Moonlight

Synopsis: Spider-Man returns home to find a werewolf attacking Naoko, but when he fights it she tells Spider-Man not to hurt him. Shortly into the fight the sun comes up and the werewolf turns into John Jameson. John reveals that when he first arrived on Counter-Earth, the High Evolutionary experimented on him before he was freed by the human rebels, and that he transforms when there's negative ions in the air. He normally has a chip in him which tricks his body into not transforming at night, but it's been buggy lately. At that point a group of machine men attack, called by a neighbour who saw the fight, but one of them turns out to be a rebuilt X-51, who tricks the others into leaving and then takes John and Spider-Man to a rebel base. Coincidentally, the rebels want Spider-Man to help them on a mission to shut down a power plant that's irradiating the humans' water supply, as his abilities would be best for the job. He agrees to do it, and all of the rebels go to a building where they're attacked by more machine men, who don't fall for X-51's trick this time.

Spider-Man: The Animated Series Episode Fifty-Eight: Six Forgotten Warriors, Chapter Five: The Price of Heroism

First Aired: October 17th, 1997

Synopsis: Spider-Man and Silver Sable are captured by a trap of the Red Skull's as they pursue him. The Red Skull reveals that the robots in the base aren't the doomsday device; they were there to safeguard a device which powers up his son, the real doomsday weapon. His son gains electricity powers and is dubbed Electro by the Red Skull. Electro takes out the Insidious Six and the Six American Warriors, but his powers start to tax him so he flees with the Red Skull and Chameleon. While Insidious Six get away, the Six American Warriors tell Silver Sable that they don't need her, and start planning how to turn the situation away. At the Red Skull's secret base Electro is annoyed at Red Skull since his life was at risk when he got his powers, so he leaves. Drunk on power, he shuts down electricity in New York and broadcasts himself across the planet, demanding that he be made ruler of the world. The Six American Warriors and Spider-Man show up and try fighting him, but are defeated again. Electro returns to where he got his powers and powers up the robots, then heads to the UN with them to continue his demands.

Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends Episode Seven: Videoman

First Aired: October 24th, 1981

Synopsis: Flash Thompson is addicted to playing an arcade game called Videoman, which he's beaten multiple times. Unbeknownst to him, Electro is the creator of the arcade game, and he's delivered copies to a bank, army base, and penthouse. When Flash sneaks back into the arcade after it closes to play the game, an electronic creature also called Videoman comes out of the arcade. Firestar saves him, but Flash sees her changing from Angelica Jones and now knows her identity. Videoman zaps Flash with a ray, and this somehow transports Flash into a video game at Electro's hideout. Electro declares that when he reaches 100 points, he'll turn it off which will kill Flash. Meanwhile, Angelica tells Bobby and Peter about Videoman after he gets away. Peter works out that Videoman must have been created by Electro since he's made of electricity, and upon putting in Electro's information to their computer, it reveals the locations that Electro delivered the games to. The three split up and go to investigate.

First Aired: January 13th, 1968

Synopsis: Doctor Noah Boddy frees Electro, the Green Goblin, and Vulture from prison, saying that together they can all get revenge on Spider-Man. They soon begin their attack, with the Green Goblin throwing a pumpkin bomb at Spider-Man which dulls his Spider-Sense. Soon afterwards, Vulture attacks Spider-Man with concussion bombs, draining Spider-Man of his stamina, before Electro appears before Spider-Man and declares that he has to meet the villains that night, otherwise they'll destroy the city.

Spider-Man (1967) Episode Seven: Kilowatt Kaper / The Peril of Parafino

First Aired: October 21st, 1967

Synopsis: It's a stormy night at a prison, and Spider-Man is warning the warden that if Electro, imprisoned there, is exposed to the storm, he'll get his powers back. Electro manages to do so using a kite he's made of stolen materials, and escapes the prison. He declares that he'll drain the power of the entire city, and then heads to a power plant and starts doing so. All across the city, blackouts start happening as a result.
