Synopsis: Peter is happy to be back in his own body, and hears about a clash between the supervillains Mr. Negative and Molten Man. He goes out and defeats them as Spider-Man and hears from Chief Watanabe that they'll be sent to the Cellar, a prison for supervillains. Peter then heads to school but discovers that Doctor Octopus made him quit Horizon and that everyone hates him. Midtown High is closed for repairs so Peter goes to see Doctor Octopus' comatose body. Anna Maria is also there and she thinks that Ock was ultimately a good person, and suggests Peter talk to someone else in the superhero community about what happened. Peter tries calling Ms. Marvel and gets no reply, so he heads to Avengers Tower, where he finds evidence of several supervillains having attacked it. Spider-Man tries calling Ms. Marvel again and this time she answers in the middle of a fight, but when Spider-Man goes to try and help her he finds her missing.

Synopsis: Peter finds Manhattan strangely empty and watches as Aunt May is teleported away before his eyes. He goes to the Avengers as Spider-Man to see if they know what's going on but finds the Executioner, Beetle, and Abomination instead. While fighting them he finds a force field surrounding Manhattan before being teleported away. He's in the spaceship of the Collector, who reveals that he's being coerced into playing a game with his brother, the Grandmaster, involving pitting heroes against villains. If Grandmaster wins the heroes get to take over the world, whereas if the Collector wins the New York civilians, who are being held in stasis, are freed. The Collector chooses Spider-Man, Hulk, and Iron Man for his team while the Grandmaster chooses Wendigo, Molten Man, and Kraven the Hunter for his.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Seventy: Inhumanity

Synopsis: Spider-Man is fighting the villain Molten Man with assistance from Triton, an exchange student from the Inhuman city of Attilan. Triton is arrogant and doesn't contribute much so the fight so Spider-Man tells him to hang back and let him defeat Molten Man by himself, which he does. The next day while Nova mentions that the Inhumans appeared out of nowhere and revealed that they'd been hiding among humanity for centuries, their flying city, Attilan, suddenly appears and declares war on humans unless SHIELD surrenders. Triton is locked up but says that he knows nothing about why this would be, so Spider-Man frees him and flies him in a jet to Attilan to investigate. Fury gives them an hour to shut down the situation before SHIELD attacks Attilan. In Attilan Triton takes Spider-Man to see Black Bolt, the king of the Inhumans, but instead find Maximus has taken over the throne and is responsible for the declaration of war. Triton temporarily imprisons him with a deus ex machina called the Gyro-Cube, and then takes Spider-Man with him to find Black Bolt.

Synopsis: Norman Osborn is showing off the Vault - a high-security prison - to J. Jonah Jameson, where Spider-Man is being led into a cell. As a favour to Norman, Spider-Man's agreed to be locked up and to try to escape so as to test its security, but unbeknownst to either of them, Black Cat is breaking into the prison at the same time for unknown reasons. Short after Spider-Man's locked up, Norman Osborn has to leave due to a phone call. Elsewhere, the school's play is doing its opening night, and there's no sign of Harry Osborn, whose role as Puck gets filled in by Hobie Brown. Spider-Man manages to escape from the cell he's in when guards show up, hiding behind webbing and jumping out when they open the door. The prison starts to enter lockdown but outside it the Green Goblin shows up and remotely controls the prison, keeping guards away from Spider-Man. When Spider-Man passes by cells full of some former foes of his, the Goblin opens them up, and Spider-Man has to fight them. While he's doing so, Black Cat breaks into the cell of a prisoner who turns out to be her father, who she's planning on breaking out. Seeing Spider-Man in trouble, she opts to assist him.

Synopsis: Spider-Man is fighting the Molten Man, a flaming humanoid with golden skin, in Blackie Gaxton's billiard room basement, and the whole place is on fire. Liz Allan and Mary Jane are trapped by the fire, and Liz thinks back to how she and Mary Jane were doing a poor job rehearsing for the school play earlier that day, while the director wondered where her brother Mark was. Peter met with Liz shortly afterwards and tried to make up for neglecting her, but she told him that she was worried about Mark, thinking that he was gambling again. Blackie Gaxton thinks back to how Mark showed up and had a debt he owed, but Blackie agreed to forget it if he participated in an experiment of the Green Goblin's, overseen by Norman Osborn and Miles Warren. The experiment turned Mark's skin golden, which he was told he could reverse by concentrating, but unbeknownst to him was secretly turned off via a remote control of Miles'. Pleased with how things had worked out, Mark headed to the races to place a bet on a horse, but when it lost the Green Goblin, hidden in the crowd, turned his armour back on, making Mark think that he'd lost control of it. Spider-Man, who had shown up to see whether Mark was still gambling, saw and briefly fought Mark in his new form, but Mark managed to get away.
