Marvel's Spider-Man Episode Fifty-Four: Vengeance of Venom

Vengeance of Venom


First Aired: June 21st, 2020

Synopsis: Peter warns Aunt May that aliens might be invading soon and gives her a device to protect herself, then heads to Avengers Tower as Spider-Man. The Avengers arrive from space but they've been infected with symbiotes, and to make matters worse, a larger ship is coming. More and more heroes get infected by the symbiotes but when a possessed Dagger mentions a seed Spider-Man realises that the seed Venom used is calling the symbiotes to Earth. Spider-Man heads to Horizon and manages to pump the seed full of electricity, destroying it, but moments later a symbiote-infected Doctor Strange arrives. He forces Spider-Man to flee then reassembles the seed. The larger ship of symbiotes arrives and infects civilians and heroes. Spider-Man returns home to find Aunt May but is attacked by symbiotes, only to be saved by a stranger. The stranger gets Spider-Man into the sewers then reveals his name: Marc Spector.

Marvel's Spider-Man Episode Fifty-Three: Amazing Friends

First Aired: May 17th, 2020

Synopsis: Miles and Spider-Man stop some bank robbers before Spider-Man realises that he's late for something with Aunt May. He heads home and finds baby Groot in his bag and a recording from Star-Lord, but when he tries to play the recording it breaks. Peter then meets Mary Jane, whom Aunt May wanted him to meet, but quickly makes his excuses and leaves with Groot. After he and Miles fail to translate Groot's language in the hopes of finding out what the message from Star-Lord was they go to Avengers Tower, where they meet Ironheart. AIM show up shortly afterwards, and during the fight Groot escapes. The AI of Tony Stark in Ironheart's armour says that they'll need Doctor Strange to translate Groot, so Miles goes off to find him while Ironheart and Spider-Man look for Groot. They find him getting captured by AIM but as they fight the villains Baron Mordo, who is working with them, appears. He fights an arriving Doctor Strange but manages to send Strange and Miles to another dimension before teleporting away with Groot.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Ninety-Eight: Strange Little Halloween

First Aired: October 1st, 2016

Synopsis: Spider-Man goes out trick or treating but his friends don't want to join. While he's out a wave of magical energy turns kids into what they're dressed as, so Spider-Man goes to Doctor Strange, who says that he's contained it to the city. He doesn't know who's behind it but can detect that it originated from the quantum space between dimensions, so they go to see Ant-Man. Due to the spell Ant-Man has turned into a giant ant, but Doctor Strange returns him to normal and he shrinks them down into the quantum realm. In the quantum realm they find Baron Mordo, who has Dormammu working for him. As they fight him Dormammu turns into Ultron, then Doctor Octopus, and they realise that it's just an illusion. Spider-Man deduces that the power is within Mordo himself and that he's drawing energy from the quantum realm - therefore, if they can take him out of it he'll be depowered.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Ninety-Four: Return to the Spider-Verse, Part One

Return to the Spider-Verse, Part One


First Aired: August 27th, 2016

Synopsis: Spider-Man and Miles are playing video games when Spider-Ham, Spyder-Knight, and Miles' mother briefly show up before vanishing into thin-air. Iron Fist shows up and takes the two heroes to K'un L'un, where Nick Fury, Madame Web, and Doctor Strange are. After fighting off some giant spiders from another universe, Madame Web explains that because the Siege Perilous was shattered, the shards have scattered between different universes, and as it pulls itself together, it's bringing bits of those universes with it. Miles and Spider-Man will have to go to the other universes to retrieve the shards, using a shard found in the hidden Inhuman City which will act as a compass to find the others. A portal is then opened by Strange and Madame Web, which lands Miles and Spider-Man in a steampunk world. They're attacked by vampiric versions of Iron Fist, White Tiger, and Luke Cage, but saved by Blood Spider, the last superhero in Manhattan. He explains that the vampires were created by the Lizard King, before they start looking for the shard from this universe.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Eighty-One: Miles From Home

First Aired: February 28th, 2016

Synopsis: Miles Morales is fighting the Green Goblin when the Goblin disappears, to Miles' confusion. In the regular universe, Spider-Man finds Doctor Octopus and Baron Mordo casting a spell using the Siege Perilous, which summons Miles' version of the Goblin. They reveal to him that they summoned him here to kill Spider-Man, since he's the only Goblin that's successfully done so in all the realities. Spider-Man briefly fights Goblin and is assisted by Doctor Strange, who has appeared since the Goblin being there is somehow disrupting reality. As they keep fighting Spider-Man inexplicably decides that "Goblin's throwing off the balance because I'm not the Spider-Man who counterbalances him," which means that he needs to get Miles. Doctor Strange is able to open a portal to Miles' Earth using the Siege Perilous, and Spider-Man goes through it. He finds Miles there and while Miles wants to stay at home since it's his mum's birthday, he agrees to come to Spider-Man's universe and help.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Fifty-Six: Cloak and Dagger

First Aired: September 14th, 2014

Synopsis: Spider-Man and Iron Fist are looking for teenage superheroes Cloak and Dagger when Cloak appears, attacking them with Mindless Ones and absorbing Iron Fist into his portal. Dagger arrives as Cloak teleports away and explains to Spider-Man that Cloak's been that way for a few days since he disappeared during a fight. Spider-Man convinces her to work with him and they go to Doctor Strange. Doctor Strange is coincidentally being attacked by Cloak, who is revealed to be controlled by Dormammu. Strange is absorbed into Cloak, but before he is he manages to give Spider-Man the Eye of Agamotto, which gives Spider-Man access to magic. Spider-Man's able to teleport himself and Dagger to the dimension Cloak teleports to, and after Dagger restrains Cloak, she gives Spider-Man one of her light daggers as he enters Cloak's portal. From in there he's able to use it to free Cloak from Dormammu's control after convincing him to trust him. Cloak and Dagger want to run away, but Spider-Man convinces them to work with him against Dormammu.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Thirteen: Strange

First Aired: July 8th, 2012

Synopsis: Spider-Man prepares for school and finds himself having six arms and that Aunt May has a spider head, but Iron Fist appears and snaps him out of the nightmare that it is. Everyone else in the city is asleep, and Iron Fist tells Spider-Man that it's a magical problem, which Spider-Man is sceptical about. Iron Fist directs Spider-Man to Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum, where they meet said doctor. Doctor Strange reveals that the extradimensional being Nightmare is behind everyone's sleep, and that he's trying to gain power to escape his own dimension. Strange takes Iron Fist and Spider-Man to another dimension so that they can fight Nightmare, who appears but is too strong for Doctor Strange to defeat. Strange warns the heroes that Nightmare is too powerful, and that they need to weaken him before he attacks them by preying on their fears.

Spider-Man: The Animated Series Episode Twenty-Eight: The Sins of the Fathers, Chapter 1 - Doctor Strange

Synopsis: After Mary Jane disappeared last episode, Peter went to Anna Watson, who was a massive jerk to him. As Spider-Man, he sees a group of flying ninjas infiltrate a strange building, and goes after them. He unmasks one of them and discovers that it's Mary Jane. The occupant of the building, Doctor Strange, saves Spider-Man from the ninjas. Spider-Man follows the ninjas and finds them at the Church of Reunification, a cult lead by Baron Mordo. Since the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak keep him out, he infiltrates it as Peter Parker. Meanwhile, Doctor Strange gives his origin to Wong, and explains about how Baron Mordo tried to kill the Ancient One, which ended up being a test to see whether he was worthy of becoming the Ancient One's successor. At the church, Peter's attempts to get Mary Jane to leave are futile, as she thinks her father's there, and Peter's hypnotised by Mordo. When the group return to Strange's for the Wand of Watoomb, Doctor Strange frees Peter - as Spider-Man - of Mordo's magic.

Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends Episode Six: 7 Little Superheroes

7 Little Superheroes

First Aired: October 17th, 1981

Synopsis: In a castle, Chameleon puts together a scheme to draw seven superheroes there and defeat them one at a time as revenge for them having defeated him in the past. Invitations are sent out to Spider-Man, Firestar,and Iceman, who accept but discover that they'll have to take Aunt May's dog, Ms. Lion, with them since Aunt May can't look after her during that time. Upon arriving at the castle, they meet the other heroes - Captain America, Doctor Strange, Shanna the She-Devil, and Namor - but Chameleon soon announces his plan to kill the superheroes over a loudspeaker. Namor is soon defeated by a trap Chameleon set up, and Spider-Man too is temporarily taken out of the picture. Chameleon disguises himself as Spider-Man and tricks Captain America into falling into some quicksand, but Ms. Lion recognises that he's not the real Spider-Man. Chameleon gets away, however, and the real Spider-Man returns.
