Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Nineteen: Home Sick Hulk

Home Sick Hulk

First Aired: September 9th, 2012

Synopsis: Aunt May is heading off for a weekend of hiking, leaving Peter at home by himself. While he's out as Spider-Man, he sees a large metal sphere land, which the Hulk burst out of, fighting a robotic alien. Nick Fury, who has called Spider-Man, identifies it as a Phalanx. It stabs Hulk before Hulk defeats it, and Spider-Man decides to take the weakened Hulk back home, since he's worried that Fury will lock Hulk up. Shortly after arriving home with the Hulk, Aunt May returns home, since she's twisted an ankle. Peter works hard to keep Aunt May downstairs, away from the Hulk, and after a series of shenanigans which are supposedly comical, Aunt May eventually falls asleep. Hulk points out that he can't trust Spider-Man since he doesn't know who Spider-Man is, and Peter unmasks. He then takes out a piece of metal that was embedded in the Hulk from the Phalanx attack, and after examining it, discovers that it's made of tiny living nanomachines.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Eighteen: Damage

Damage


First Aired: August 19th, 2012

Synopsis: The Wrecking Crew are randomly smashing up the city, but after fighting Spider-Man and his team for a bit they leave, with no apparent reason for what they were doing. Nick Fury is angry at the team for the damage that was dealt to the city, and when the team protest that the Wrecking Crew were doing nothing but damaging the city, he tells them that they can investigate what might have been going on while undercover in Damage Control, the organisation that cleans up after superhero fights. The team are annoyed, but reluctantly accept it. While cleaning up after the Wrecking Crew, Spider-Man accidentally hits Nova with a shrinking ray, who is reduced to a few inches in size. The CEO of Damage Control, Mac Porter, tells everyone not to go into a building that's unstable, and conveniently next to an undamaged bank. Spider-Man investigates the bank and finds that its vault has been cleaned out, and get suspicious that Porter might be responsible. The rest of his team are sceptical, however.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Seventeen: Snow Day

First Aired: August 5th, 2012

Synopsis: Spider-Man is woken by an alert from Nova requesting his help, but when he leaves home he's hit in the face by a series of snowballs thrown by his team. It turns out that they don't have school that day due to the snow, but Coulson wants them to take advantage of the free time to do some winter survival training. Instead, the team decide to go to a deserted island that Nova found in SHIELD's database. The team spend some time making sandcastles, playing sport, and ignoring Spider-Man's spider-sense, but when they're playing volleyball, the ball ends up knocked away. Shortly after Spider-Man retrieves it a small child, Sandy, appears, and challenges the team to a game of hide and seek. Although the team are disturbed by him they agree they can't leave him alone, and start looking for him, noting that he seems to be everywhere. They soon run into a teenager, Flint, who says that Sandy's probably in the ruins. Although the team don't recall seeing any ruins, they suddenly form out of sand. The team are creeped out enough by now that they're ready to leave, but Sandy reappears. He crumbles into sand, and the team's plane is absorbed by sand and taken to the top of the ruins.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Sixteen: Beetle Mania

Synopsis: Spider-Man and his team fight the Trapster, and manage to defeat him soundly by trapping him in a large concrete cylinder. Nick Fury's impressed and gives them an official SHIELD mission to defend J. Jonah Jameson from the Beetle, a criminal who Jonah has been speaking out against recently. While the team are standing on the roof of the Daily Bugle, Spider-Man gets a call from Mary Jane, who's about to have an interview with Jonah. Worried that she might get caught in the crossfire between the Beetle and Jonah, he switches to Peter Parker, meets with her, and tries to redirect her away, but she has none of it. Spider-Man's team try and talk her away, but she manages to get past all of them, and unbeknownst to her and Peter, they're soon taken out by the Beetle and some robots of his. By the time Peter and Mary Jane have reached the top floor, Peter can't contact any of them, and his spider-sense is starting to tingle, so he throws Mary Jane into Jonah's office and switches to Spider-Man, right as Beetle arrives.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Fifteen: For Your Eye Only

First Aired: July 22nd, 2012

Synopsis: Nick Fury is angry at Spider-Man, as he thinks the latter doesn't do enough training. He tells Spider-Man to come to the helicarrier the next day for more training, but when Spider-Man does show up he finds that the criminal organisation Zodiac has taken it over, with their leader, Scorpio, claiming that Nick Fury is dead. Spider-Man makes a panicky escape, but realises that he has no proof that Fury is dead. He's unable to call his team since the signal is jammed, and as he sneaks around the helicarrier he discovers that Scorpio is going to download all of SHIELD's files then destroy the helicarrier. Spider-Man gets a call from a still-living Nick Fury, but is overheard by the Zodiac mooks. Spider-Man's able to avoid the villains, make his way to a terminal, and then follow Fury's instructions to stop the file download. Fury tells Spider-Man that he's being held on the seventh level, so Spider-Man makes his way there and is eventually able to free him.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Fourteen: Awesome

First Aired: July 15th, 2012

Synopsis: Spider-Man is fighting Juggernaut when he gets a call from Luke, who reminds him that the science fair project they were supposed to be working on is due the next day, and Peter hasn't done any work on it in spite of claiming that he'd take care of it by himself. Peter promises he'll still get it done. Juggernaut eventually escapes, but when Peter goes home the next day to create something for the science fair he finds out that Aunt May has sold his chemistry set. He plans to make something at school, but on the way in runs into Juggernaut again, and is caught up fighting him once more. The delay with Juggernaut - who escapes again - means Peter doesn't have time to make something at school, and Luke is annoyed. Peter promises to make it up to Luke, and does so by heading to the SHIELD Helicarrier to find something they can use at the science fair. He finds a grey brick made of organic matter, but Peter soon feels guilty and tells Luke that they can't submit it, since he didn't make it. The brick comes to life, starts consuming matter, and soon has a large, humanoid form, albeit one with a brick-shaped head.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Thirteen: Strange

First Aired: July 8th, 2012

Synopsis: Spider-Man prepares for school and finds himself having six arms and that Aunt May has a spider head, but Iron Fist appears and snaps him out of the nightmare that it is. Everyone else in the city is asleep, and Iron Fist tells Spider-Man that it's a magical problem, which Spider-Man is sceptical about. Iron Fist directs Spider-Man to Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum, where they meet said doctor. Doctor Strange reveals that the extradimensional being Nightmare is behind everyone's sleep, and that he's trying to gain power to escape his own dimension. Strange takes Iron Fist and Spider-Man to another dimension so that they can fight Nightmare, who appears but is too strong for Doctor Strange to defeat. Strange warns the heroes that Nightmare is too powerful, and that they need to weaken him before he attacks them by preying on their fears.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Twelve: Me Time

First Aired: July 1st, 2012

Synopsis: Spider-Man fights and defeats Whirlwind, although unbeknownst to him Whirlwind contacts Doctor Octopus during the fight and reveals that he was intentionally supposed to draw out Spider-Man. Afterwards, Spider-Man is scolded by Nick Fury for causing collateral damage, and brushes off Fury's suggestion to go do some training. At home he finds that Aunt May's gone home for the weekend, and while he's initially excited that he has the place to himself he finds a tiny camera from SHIELD and is enraged. When Spider-Man confronts Fury, the latter says that it's to keep him safe, but that's not good enough for Spider-Man and he hands in his SHIELD web shooter to Fury, telling him that his weekend is his and that he doesn't want to be watched. Doctor Octopus is berated by Norman Osborn for not having made any progress with his Spider-Man project, so Ock goes after Spider-Man himself, attacking him at a carnival.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Eleven: Venomous

First Aired: June 24th, 2012

Synopsis: Batroc the Leaper is brutally attacked by Venom, and Spider-Man is blamed for it. The next day Harry is tired and nervous but says that he doesn't know anything about what happened when Peter asks, so Peter follows him as Spider-Man on the Spider-Cycle. Harry goes to Oscorp and wants to talk to Norman, who has recognised Venom's handiwork, but when Norman doesn't listen Harry transforms into Venom. Spider-Man bursts in and saves Norman, but Harry escapes. Nick Fury calls in the team and tells them that they'll be taking down Venom, but since Peter doesn't want to hurt Harry and refuses to tell the team about his connection he's taken off the assignment. Nevertheless, Spider-Man waits outside an Oscorp lab, knowing that Harry will go there since Norman's there. He inevitably does, but as Spider-Man's trying to help Norman, the other superheroes appear and Spider-Man has to fight them so they don't hurt Harry. Venom ends up escaping, but not before White Tiger manages to get a sample of the symbiote.
