The Terrible Triumph of Dr. Octopus

Synopsis: Peter Parker is taking photos of a simulation of a new device called the Nullifier. The Nullifier can stop missiles by flying to them mid-air and blowing them up. As the simulation finishes, Doctor Octopus appears in the window and tries to steal the Nullifier. Although Peter changes to Spider-Man and gets into an intense fight with Doctor Octopus, the villain is able to get away with the Nullifier - but not before Spider-Man gets a Spider-Tracer on him.

Synopsis: Swinging around the city, Spider-Man overhears an alarm in a penthouse ringing. Upon investigating, he finds that the Vulture is back and has just robbed the penthouse, although he is unable to stop him from getting away. The next day, J. Jonah Jameson is sitting in his office when he notes that a nearby clock tower is wrong. Since no one's fixed it even though he's complained in the past, he heads there himself to do so, only to find out that it's the Vulture's hideout.When J. Jonah Jameson mentions that he needs to be at a rocket testing, Vulture is intrigued.

The Spider and the Fly

First Aired: December 16th, 1967

Synopsis: A figure in black is seen sneaking into the Walden Hotel in the middle of the night. Upon hearing someone inside scream, Spider-Man investigates and finds out that the Human Fly came in and tried to steal the victim's jewels. He manages to find the Human Fly nearby, and chases him but eventually the villain escapes. Returning to the hotel, Spider-Man finds out that the Human Fly returned and stole the jewels, something he considers to be impossible.

Spider-Man (1967) Episode Fourteen: The Golden Rhino / Blueprint for Crime

The Golden Rhino

First Aired: December 9th, 1967

Synopsis: At the docks, fifteen million dollars worth of gold is being moved from a ship, only for the truck it's being loaded onto to be attacked by Rhino and knocked into the water. Spider-Man appears and searches the water, but both the gold and Rhino are missing. Rhino takes it back to his hideout, a warehouse at the docks, and starts melting it down, planning to make a statue of himself out of it. When he realises that he doesn't have enough gold to make the statue, he attacks Wall Street, where Spider-Man fails to stop him.

Spider-Man (1967) Episode Thirteen: Return of the Flying Dutchman / Farewell Performance

Return of the Flying Dutchman

First Aired: December 2nd, 1967

Synopsis: On a stormy night, a ghostly ship is seen flying above the ocean, which a ship's captain identifies as the Flying Dutchman. The sightings increase to the point that J. Jonah Jameson sends Peter Parker to get photos of it, even though he personally doesn't believe in it. Spider-Man is told by the aforementioned captain, who is on the shore of the beach watching the ocean with a telescope, that the ship appears over Smuggler's Cove every storm. Spider-Man soon sees the ship and takes a photo before being knocked out by two thugs. They enter a secret passage in the nearby cliff and report to their boss that Spider-Man was taking photos of their ship - said boss turning out to be none other than Mysterio.

Synopsis: Spider-Man enters the Daily Bugle when his spider sense tells him that something wrong is going on there, which briefly leads to him seeing strange happenings such as doors slamming shut and objects flying through the air. A note left in J. Jonah Jameson's office invites Jonah to an art gallery for the biggest scoop of the year, and is signed by Dr. Noah Boddy. Jonah goes to the gallery, but the police are called by Boddy. Jonah is framed to look as though he was trying to steal a valuable painting by Boddy, as revenge for Jonah not taking his theories about invisibility seriously enough.

The Night of the Villains

First Aired: November 18th, 1967

Synopsis: Investigating the sounds of a crime on a boat, Spider-Man is surprised to find Blackbeard the pirate behind the crime. Although he attempts to stop Blackbeard, he's knocked overboard, and in that time Blackbeard escapes. Blackbeard takes a chest of gems he stole to the wax museum of Parafino, who plans on using Jesse James for a bank robbery. Spider-Man runs into Jesse James as the robbery is happening, but is forced to flee when a police officer James knocked out comes to and thinks that Spider-Man is trying to rob the bank, as he can't see James from his viewpoint.
