Synopsis: Grandmaster declares that since his ship was destroyed New York will become his new ship. Although he gets to keep all of the superheroes he returns Spider-Man to the Collector since he doesn't want him. Spider-Man  tries convincing the Collector to stand up to the Grandmaster, but he's reluctant to. Meanwhile, Absorbing Man, Executioner, Doctor Octopus, and Titus are pitted against Captain America and Hawkeye to amuse the Grandmaster, but Spider-Man appears and joins the battle. He challenges Grandmaster to a rematch, and Grandmaster accepts with the condition that the Collector is a player in the game. The Collector and Spider-Man are pitted against the Executioner, Absorbing Man, and Doctor Octopus, but the Collector is still scared of the Grandmaster since he always wins. Doctor Octopus manages to pin down Spider-Man for the Absorbing Man to kill, but Aunt May appears and tries attacking them. She's threatened by the villains which gives Spider-Man the resolve to free himself and save her, and he then convinces the Collector to fight properly.

Synopsis: Spider-Man talks to the Collector who isn't pleased at all the heroes he's lost. Collector reveals that Grandmaster is the one holding the New Yorkers hostage, not him. It's then time for the next match which pits Spider-Man, Iron Spider, Venom, and Thor against Annihilus, Attuma, and Terrax. Spider-Man is the first to meet the villains but he manages to get away and meet up with his team. While they distract the villains he runs off to SHIELD Academy where he retrieves some robots. When he rejoins his team he reveals that they're Life Model Decoys, which disguise themselves as himself, Iron Spider, and Venom and fight alongside Thor while the real heroes escape. They use a SHIELD jet to break through the force field surrounding New York and reach the Grandmaster's ship, successfully destroying its communications array. They get on board the Grandmaster's ship afterwards so that they can free the New Yorkers from the Grandmaster, thus removing the stakes from the game. Meanwhile, on Earth, the LMD Iron Spider and Venom are defeated, leading to the Collector summoning A-Bomb, Hawkeye, and She-Hulk in response, saying that they'll make it a winners take all match.

Synopsis: Grandmaster says that he's changing the rules of the game to make things more interesting, and reminds the Collector that the winner of each game takes the loser's players. The next game is capture the flag, with whoever finds the flag first winning. Spider-Man is chosen by the Collector and has to fight Sandman, but he's joined by Captain America, Iron Fist, and Red Hulk, and Red Hulk manages to defeat Sandman by getting hot enough to turn Sandman to glass. As the team continue into the city the Grandmaster summons Blastaar and Ymir, but when Spider-Man spots the flag at the docks and starts making his way there, Grandmaster disables the gravity. Captain America is defeated by Ymir, and when the team arrive at the docks Grandmaster changes things again, placing lava everywhere. Spider-Man and his team reach the flag but for some reason have to control it to win, leading to Red Hulk getting defeated by Ymir while Iron Fist takes out Blastaar. Iron Fist is defeated next, but Spider-Man defeats Ymir using electrical cables, which for some reason counts as controlling the flag.

Synopsis: Peter finds Manhattan strangely empty and watches as Aunt May is teleported away before his eyes. He goes to the Avengers as Spider-Man to see if they know what's going on but finds the Executioner, Beetle, and Abomination instead. While fighting them he finds a force field surrounding Manhattan before being teleported away. He's in the spaceship of the Collector, who reveals that he's being coerced into playing a game with his brother, the Grandmaster, involving pitting heroes against villains. If Grandmaster wins the heroes get to take over the world, whereas if the Collector wins the New York civilians, who are being held in stasis, are freed. The Collector chooses Spider-Man, Hulk, and Iron Man for his team while the Grandmaster chooses Wendigo, Molten Man, and Kraven the Hunter for his.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Seventy-Four: Nightmare on Christmas

First Aired: December 3rd, 2014

Synopsis: Shocker robs a bank on Christmas Eve and is stopped by Spider-Man, but in the process damages Spider-Man's communicator. When Spider-Man returns to SHIELD Academy he finds all of his teammates, minus a sleeping Squirrel Girl, missing, and leaps to the conclusion that everyone ditched him on Christmas Eve. He goes back outside and falls from a roof, seemingly to his death, but wakes up and finds himself fighting the Enforcers. They soon drive away with an Oscorp truck, and Spider-Man is belittled by J. Jonah Jameson for letting it happen. Spider-Man recalls that this happened a few Christmases ago and goes after the Enforcers and successfully stops them. However, the truck goes over a bridge and into the water. Once again Spider-Man wakes up, this time to Shocker robbing the bank from the start of the episode. He stops Shocker once again but continues to receive no gratitude from civilians, so he throws his costume in the bin and declares that he's Spider-Man no more.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Seventy-Three: Halloween Night at the Museum

Halloween Night at the Museum

First Aired: October 10th, 2014

Synopsis: Spider-Man heads to the museum on Halloween, keen to see the Camelot exhibit he hasn't gotten the chance to see yet. Jessie, a teenager apparently looking after some kids or something, is also trying to get in with them before taking them out trick or treating, but the exhibition is closed for the night as they approach. They, and Spider-Man, sneak in, but one of the kids touches a sword which causes energy to go around the museum. Morgan Le Fay appears from a portal and declares that she wants to create eternal darkness over the Earth using the sword, which Jessie has taken. Morgan locks the museum up and brings the exhibits to life as the heroes run away. Spider-Man and Jessie argue for a bit before fighting a giant worm that attacks them, then moving to an area of the museum filled with planes. Spider-Man has to explain the plot to Jessie, but they're interrupted by a Jack O'Lantern-headed monster created by Morgan.

Ultimate Spider-Man Episode Seventy-Two: The Revenge of Arnim Zola

The Revenge of Arnim Zola

First Aired: September 26th, 2015

Synopsis: Arnim Zola sends new synthezoids at the heroes, and Cloak disappears while teleporting the Scorpion/Juggernaut one away. Spider-Man deals with the other, a Juggernaut/Doctor Octopus hybrid, but during the whole fight Rhino and Venom keep clashing. They continue to clash as they head to the reactor room, where they find Zola. Spider-Man manages to connect Zola to the reactor and deliver a shock of electricity strong enough to defeat him, but the heroes still need to find their captured allies. They wander along and find them held in gigantic tubes, but Zola appears on some screens and reveals that he can send his consciousness to any computer within range. Zola attacks them with a gigantic robot which has somehow copied the captured heroes' powers, and he's able to defeat Venom and Rhino and put them into tubes. He then reveals that he wants to take over Spider-Man's body for himself and places Spider-Man within a tube inside his giant robot.
